Safeguarding Children Policy

At Ballers Sports Club Ltd, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children involved in our sport programmes. Our safeguarding policy is in place to protect young players and promote a positive and safe sporting experience.

Commitment to Safeguarding

We take the responsibility of safeguarding children very seriously. All coaches, assistant coaches, and staff at Ballers Sports Club Ltd are required to undergo comprehensive safeguarding training. This ensures that they are equipped to recognize and respond to any concerns or signs of abuse, and that they understand their responsibility in maintaining a safe environment for young players.

Safeguarding Training for Coaches and Assistant Coaches

To ensure the safety of all children, we have made safeguarding training mandatory for all coaches and assistant coaches within our club. Each coach is fully trained in safeguarding children and follows strict guidelines to protect the welfare of all players in their care. We adhere to national safeguarding standards and regularly update training to ensure we are always in line with best practices.

Our Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children.

  • Training coaches to recognize, report, and handle safeguarding issues appropriately.

  • Encouraging positive relationships built on respect, fairness, and inclusion.

  • Responding to any concerns promptly and responsibly, following safeguarding procedures.
